The Hobbit. Probably my favorite book of all time. I was pressured by a good friend to do this. Not sure how far I will take it... I've been wanting to do my little own collection of scenes from the book for a while, hopefuly I'll find the time. Anyway, here is the rough thumbnail, and my horrible messy sketch. From that I go straight to inks. Not sure why I put the grid, didn't even use it once i started drawing it again. oh wells!
